"iStream", which were formally known as e-mIRC, was formally just a normal chatting channel. It then slowly grows into a radio interacting channel.

iStream was co-founded in September 2003 by DeV|LisH and Krawx. They’ve been recruiting more crews to join iStream committees and finally the online radio was packed by listeners and iStream crews. With the inception of the Management Review Team (MRT) and the Executive Committee of the Board Of Directors (BOD) mainly comprising of Krawx as the Chairman & DeV|LisH as the Chief Operations Officer (COO). A new addition to the executive board was made with the expertises in the Music & Entertainment Industry.

iStream suspended all operations multiple times to accommodate for newer upgrades in terms of technically and with newer recruits but with the spirit of iStream, the crews never stop supporting iStream and putting much effort to maintain the channel with a firm management.

In December 2004, iStream finally got it's own domain, iStreamRadio.NET, and own hosting. Later, the domain name had changed to iStream-Radio.NET due to multiple reasons.

iStream, today, has undergone another expansion into the milestones as iStream Radio Network was offered the management services of an International Corporation that manages huge global conglomerates. The Corporate Management Associates (CMA) inaugurated iStream Radio Network as one of their subsidiaries and manages the external marketing & affairs for the Network. Today, iStream is a member of the CMA International Group of Companies. CMA has been trying hard to bring benefits to iStream in terms of new artiste relations, celebrities with interviews, goodies, freebies, gig guides, concert and infotainment details.

iStream ?! Everyone has been asking what is iStream. Actually, it was given by DeV|LisH and Krawx. They've been thinking hard for it and finally iStream is the decision. iStream is not Digital Stream but Internet Streaming. The purpose of the iStream was derived from the medium that we broadcast in. iStream is based on the Internet as a Net Radio and not as any conventional and traditional Frequency Radio Stations. iStream comes from the word Stream. As we are hosting, we are streaming. iStream is a "UNIQUE" name for both of them. We stream for everyone for the best. Nevertheless, we want iStream to be your one-stop music channel. That's why iStream’s official slogan "Your One-Stop Music Channel" was created. We want everyone to stop in our channel and listen to us and that's why we named it "One-Stop".
